3

Submit your picks — you can edit them right up to July 16th

4

Lowest combined score after 72 holes takes the prize!

⛳  Your final score is the total 72-hole strokes-to-par across all four picks. If a player misses the cut or withdraws, rounds 3 & 4 each count as 75 strokes (+10 to your total). There is no escape.

How Scoring Works — Example

Scores are each player’s 72-hole total relative to par. Add your four picks’ scores together — lowest total wins!

Tier Your Pick 72-hole Score Counts as
⭐ Tier 1 Scottie Scheffler -12 (268) -12
🔵 Tier 2 Ben Griffin +4 (284) +4
🟣 Tier 3 Keith Mitchell Missed Cut +10 (R3+R4 as 75)
🔴 Tier 4 Cameron Smith -2 (278) -2

Rules

  • 💰Entry fee is €20 per person, paid to the organiser before submitting your picks. No cash, no picks. We’ve all got that one friend who “forgot their wallet” — don’t be that person.
  • 🏌️Pick exactly 4 golfers — one from each tier. No, you can’t put Scottie Scheffler in all four slots. We checked.
  • 🔒Picks lock at first tee-off on Thursday 16 July. You can edit your picks any time before then — so no excuses about “not knowing the field” when you picked a 50-year-old past champion in Tier 4.
  • 📊Scoring is each player’s official 72-hole total relative to par. Lowest combined score wins. Yes, negative numbers are good — unlike most things in life.
  • If a player misses the cut or withdraws, rounds 3 & 4 each count as 75 strokes (+10 to your total). Think of it as a penalty for bad taste in golfers. There is no escape — not even for a past champion.
  • 🏆Lowest combined total score wins. The participant with the best picks — and maybe a small miracle — walks away with the big prize.
  • 🤝Tiebreaker: if two or more participants finish level, the relevant prize is split equally. Sharing is caring. Especially when it’s €200.
  • 🍀Open Champion Bonus: if any of your picks wins the actual tournament, you scoop an extra 25% of the pot. The Claret Jug is nice, but so is cold hard cash.
  • 💡If nobody picks the champion, the bonus rolls into the overall winner’s prize. So even if the winner is a complete wildcard, someone benefits — just probably not the person who picked the rank outsider in Tier 4.
  • ⚖️The organiser’s decision is final in any dispute. Don’t @ us.
